VANITY ROOM INSPIRATION

I've had this dream of carving out the perfect little sanctuary in my home dedicated solely to beauty and glam. And while I finally snagged an extra room that could've made this dream a reality, I had a change of heart. Instead, I decided to weave my beauty setup seamlessly into my bedroom, leaving that extra room open for a potential home office or creative haven (fingers crossed!).

But here's the thing: I know I'm not alone in wanting that dedicated vanity area. So, for all you fellow dreamers out there who, like me, are tight on space, fear not! I've rounded up some genius space-saving designs below to help you carve out your own little beauty haven without breaking the bank (or your space limitations). Let's make those vanity dreams come true, shall we? ✨

MY TOP 10 VANITY ROOM/ SPACE DESIGNS

Alright, let's dive into my top ten vanity set-ups (and just a heads up, they're not in any particular order)! First up, we've got this ultra-chic design spotted on Cara Loren's feed.

I'm talking about a sleek setup with a built-in mirror and plenty of surface and drawer space, making it an absolute space-saving gem. What's not to love?

I'm all about the idea of having a designated spot for everything, and those drawers? They're a game-changer for keeping things tidy and organized. Plus, can we just take a moment to appreciate the minimalist vibes? It's like a breath of fresh air compared to some of the cluttered vanity units out there (don't worry, mine's guilty of that too - but hey, stay tuned for the transformation!).

Prefer a unit with a built in mirror? You're in luck! I've featured a similar one from Ikea below, and is only £65!

Alright, let's talk dressing table essentials, shall we? If there's one thing I can't resist, it's a gorgeous, oversized mirror with those classic Hollywood lights. Sure, investing in a premium Hollywood mirror might make your wallet shed a tear or two, but trust me, the payoff is worth every penny - and it's not just for the gram!

Let's get real for a sec. Have you ever tried getting ready for a night out in dim lighting? Or, even worse, under that ghastly orange glow of standard room lighting? It's a makeup nightmare, my friends! But fear not, because these Hollywood lights are here to save the day (and your selfies).

These babies mimic natural daylight like nobody's business, meaning you'll see every little detail of your makeup game - no surprises when you step out into the real world. And trust me, nothing beats that feeling of flawlessly blended foundation under the glow of those glorious lights.

Still not convinced? Just take a peek at the stunner below and tell me you're not swooning!

I mean, just take a look at this beauty! If my beauty space looked anything like this, I'd probably be setting my alarm for an extra early wake-up call just to soak it all in... (although, let's be real, I'm not sure I could ever sacrifice precious sleep time).

Props to Amber for creating such a stunning setup using an Ikea Malm table. With its sleek, slender design, it's like the holy grail for all us space-saving enthusiasts out there.

And for those of you wondering, this is the exact Malm table that Amber used to work her magic. Trust me, it's about to become your new obsession.

Who says you're out of luck if your only available space for a dressing table is tucked away in a corner? Think again!

Believe it or not, there are plenty of clever solutions to this common dilemma, and they don't have to break the bank. From ready-made corner or triangular dressing tables to bespoke designs tailored to fit your space perfectly, the options are endless.

You'd be amazed by the variety of ready-made options on the market, but what's even more exciting is the abundance of design services ready to craft a custom solution just for you. And here's the kicker - sometimes, these bespoke designs can be even more affordable than their off-the-shelf counterparts. Who knew, right?

A good example of this is the shot below which was designed and captured by Jarrods Staircases for one of their clients. Fitted Furniture is just a slice of their overall offer and I'd say they're definitely worth checking out if you'd like something more to your needs.

Want something more readily available? I've included three you may like below.

As someone who's all about maximizing space and ensuring everything in the home has its designated spot, I'm totally vibing with the whole 'build a vanity unit into an alcove' trend. This next design nails it, and it's giving me major flashbacks to my old flat where space was definitely not at a premium.

Now, let's talk aesthetics. While I'm not necessarily sold on the idea that only light interiors can make a space feel more open, there's no denying the sheer beauty of incorporating dark accents. This style strikes the perfect balance between clean and contemporary, with just the right touch of art deco flair courtesy of those stunning wall sconces. Talk about a winning combo!

Here's a lighting twist for your beauty space that's anything but traditional, but trust me, it's worth a second look. Now, don't get me wrong, I've got a soft spot for those classic Hollywood frames as much as the next person, but there's something about this alternative lighting that's got me swooning.

If you know me, you know I'm all about those exclusive finds - and let me tell you, this lighting ticks all the boxes. Sure, you can find similar options just about anywhere, but there's just something special about this gold and white finish that's got me all heart-eyes.

Ready to add a touch of glam to your space? Check out this MW lighting on Amazon for a similar vibe that's sure to elevate your beauty setup to new heights of chicness.

Now, onto the next design, which bears a striking resemblance to one we've already seen, but with a twist! This beauty is all about compactness and versatility, being smaller in size and conveniently wall-mounted. But here's the kicker - it also boasts a DIY mosaic mirror, adding a touch of personality and creativity to the mix.

For all you fellow DIY enthusiasts out there, this one's for you! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and channel your inner artist with this fabulous project. Trust me, the end result is worth every ounce of effort.

For all my US followers, If you follow me on instagram you'll have learned that I am slowly becoming more into the home collection by Urban Outfitters and you'll totes understand why when you check out their wire loop vanity set.

Again, I love to look at interiors across all dimensions, and this little set below has really opened my eyes as to why the boho chic trend exists.

And speaking of boho... have you ever wondered what might happened when boho meets tropical? No me neither. But it just happened and I am still making up my mind about this look below.

Major props to the stylist behind this setup because they've truly outdone themselves! I mean, who would've thought these pieces could come together so seamlessly? And let's take a moment to appreciate the authenticity that chair brings to the mix - it's like the cherry on top of an already fabulous ensemble.

But what really caught my eye was the stunning combination of golds, brass, and copper. Usually, mixing metals can be a recipe for disaster, but here, they harmonise beautifully. It just goes to show that with the right styling, even the most unlikely pairings can work wonders.

And for all my fellow hand-shaped chair enthusiasts out there, feast your eyes on this absolute stunner - the Om Mudra Chair by Rockett St George. Sure, it may come with a hefty price tag, but can we talk about the sheer elegance and style it brings to any space? Talk about a statement piece!

Now, feast your eyes on this glamorous setup that's giving off some serious Marilyn Monroe vibes! I stumbled upon this gem on Pinterest, and while I couldn't trace it back to its original creator, it's safe to say it's dripping with old Hollywood charm.

I mean, just picture it - this could totally be the boudoir of Marilyn's modern-day counterpart (whoever that may be). But what really steals the show for me? Those perfume bottles perched ever so elegantly on the dressing table. There's just something about traditional glass perfume bottles, especially when they come with those fancy tassel puff sprayers. Talk about adding a touch of vintage glam to your everyday routine!

Obviously, I had to find some of the fancy pants perfume bottles in case you love them as much as I do!

Last but certainly not least, let's take a peek at Kelley Moore's charming shabby chic dressing table with its vintage rustic charm. This setup hits me right in the feels because it brings back memories of my very first dressing table, which has since been upgraded to my Zen Altar.

Kelley's ensemble is all about pretty vibes and features a trio mirror that's an absolute lifesaver when you're trying to make sure your foundation isn't pulling a disappearing act on your face (we've all been there, am I right?).

And can we just take a moment to appreciate those delightful perfume bottles adorning the dressing table? There's something about traditional glass bottles with those fancy tassel puff sprays that just warms my heart. It's like a little touch of vintage glamour in a modern world.

I bought a triple mirror from Argos a few years ago, which is no longer with me. But if I had to choose another shabby chic style mirror again, I'd chose something like this cutie:
